And wouldn’t it be great would if a goalkeeper would score during the #WorldCup2022 😍.

281. Milan Borjan 🇨🇦. The goalkeeper was born in Serbia 🇷🇸 but moved to #Canada as a young teenager, and is the starting goalkeeper for Canada at the WorldCup. In 2022, #Borjan scored a penalty for #RedStarBelgrade against #Vozdovac, as the club clinched their 5th straight title

280. Alfredo Talavera 🇲🇽. The goalkeeper is included in the WorldCup squad of #Mexico, most likely as backup behind #Ochoa. In 2013 he scored a penalty for #Toluca against #Puebla. Aged 40, #Talavera will be the oldest player selected at the #FIFAWorldCup 2022 in Qatar 🇶🇦

279. Danny Vukovic 🇦🇺. The goalkeeper from #Australia is the only goalkeeper to have scored in the #ALeague. He did so when he converted a penalty for #WellingtonPhoenix in 2011 against #NorthQueenslandFury. #Vukovic played in 🇯🇵🇹🇷🇧🇪🇳🇱 and is included in the WorldCup squad of 🇦🇺

278. Sinan Bolat 🇹🇷. The goalkeeper from #Turkey scored a header for #StandardLiege against AZ 🇳🇱 in the #EuropaLeague in 2009, allowing the club from #Belgium to advance to the next round. #Bolat spent the majority of his career in 🇧🇪 but also played for #FCPorto & #Galatasaray

277. Mateusz Hewelt 🇵🇱. The goalkeeper from #Poland scored an equaliser for Miedz Legnica against Chrobry Glogow in 2020. Since then, the youth product of #Everton 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and #Shelbourne 🇮🇪 has played for #BamberBridge in #NorthernIreland, #TranmereRovers and #StaffordRangers.

276. Jesse Joronen 🇫🇮. The goalkeeper from #Finland scored for #Stevenahe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 with a long-range clearance in a match against Wycombe Wanderers in 2015. #Joronen played in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇫🇮 🇩🇰 🇮🇹, and played for #Brescia in the #SerieA. He played 15 times for his country in the last 10 years.

275. Andrew Lonergan 🇮🇪 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. The represented #Ireland U16 and England U20. He scored for #PrestonNorthEnd in 2004 after his long kick bounced over #Leicester goalkeeper Kevin #Pressman. Since 2019 he was at #Liverpool, #Stoke, #WBA and #Everton, but only played 1 match for Stoke.

274. Alberto Brignoli 🇮🇹. The goalkeeper from #Italy scored a 95th-minute equaliser with a header in a 2–2 home draw against Milan in 2017, becoming the 3rd goalkeeper to score in open play in the #SerieA after #Rampulla and #Taibi. Currently #Brignoli plays for #Panathinaikos 🇬🇷

273. Sebastien Viera 🇺🇾. The goalkeeper from #Uruguay takes penalties for #AtleticoJunior 🇨🇴. Yesterday he converted another penalty, the equaliser in injury time against Deportivo Pereira. To celebrate he took off his shirt, got a second yellow and Deportivo scored the winner 🤨

272. Kennedy Mweene 🇿🇲. Not only did the goalkeeper score for his previous club #FreeStateStars 🇿🇦, he also scored twice for #Zambia. He won the African Cup of Nations in 2012, and plays for #MamelodiSundowns since 2013. With them #Mweene won the League of #SouthAfrica 6 times

271. Etrit Berisha 🇦🇱. The goalkeeper from #Albania took penalties while he was playing for #Kalmar 🇸🇪, and scored 4 goals. Since he moved to Italy 🇮🇹, he hasn’t done than anymore. He has played in the #SerieA for #Lazio, #Atalanta, #Spal and most recently #Torino

270. Jo Coppens 🇧🇪. The goalkeeper from #Belgium scored a goal from 80 metres for #CarlZeissJena 🇩🇪 against #Werder Bremen II in 2018. He has also played in 🇳🇱 and 🇳🇴, but since this year #Coppens is back in Belgium, played for #SintTruiden in the #JupilerProLeague 🍺

269. Cristian Alvarez 🇦🇷. Another goalkeeper from #Argentina that has scored a goal. Alvarez scored a header for #RealZaragoza 🇪🇸 against #CDLugo in 2021. He also played in Paraguay 🇵🇾 for Cerro Porteno. Aged 36, will he still score more goals 🙏 🙂

268. Christian #Lucchetti 🇦🇷. The goalkeeper from #Argentina is not only 44 years old and still playing for #GimnasiaJujuy , but also a great penalty-taker. He has scored over 20 goals in his career, including 16 for #Banfield, with whom he also won the #PrimeraDivision in 2009.

267. Martin Hansen 🇩🇰. The goalkeeper from #Denmark scored a dramatic backheel equaliser for #ADODenHaag 🇳🇱 against #PSV in 2015. He played in the youth academy of #Liverpool, played a handful of matches for #Bradford and has since played in 🇩🇰 🇳🇱 🇩🇪 🇨🇭 🇳🇴 and is now at #Odense

266.Mark #Travers 🇮🇪. The goalkeeper from #Ireland joined #Weymouth on loan from #Bournemouth, scoring the winning goal on his debut. When he made his debut for Bournemouth 🍒 aged 19, he became the first teenage goalkeeper since Joe Hart in 2006 to start a #PremierLeague match

265:Tom King 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. The goalkeeper who was called-up for #Wales in 2019, scored with a goal kick for #Newport against #Cheltenham in 2021. It was later confirmed he broke the record for longest football goal, a record previously held by Asmir #Begovic 🇧🇦. King now plays for #Salford

264. Kieffer Moore 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. The striker scored for #Wales against 🇨🇭 at #Euro2020. He is 30 years old and this is his first season in the #PremierLeague , playing for #Bournemouth. He played in 🇳🇴 for #Viking and fought his way up via clubs like #TruroCity, #Torquay and #Barnsley 💪

263. Andriy Lunin 🇺🇦. The goalkeeper from #Ukraine made has debut for #Dnipro aged 17, moving the season after to #ZoryaLuhansk, where he earned a transfer to #RealMadrid 🇪🇸. He was loaned out a few times but has also played for Los Blancos in #LaLiga and the #ChampionsLeague 😊
