For years, I’ve carried the self-belief of someone who is destined for big money, even when my circumstances were screaming the complete opposite.

There was a time I didn’t even earn up to ₦100k, but I’d still have these crazy dreams of travelling the world, building something meaningful and living a life that felt bigger than what was around me. Somehow, little by little, things are starting to align.

I’ve gone from literally gambling with life, and being a proper gambling addict at some point, to realizing that I don’t want to gamble with my future anymore.

Now, I’m more concerned about building a life my daughter, the only child I ever intend to have, will be proud of. A life where she doesn’t have to struggle through some of the financial blockades I had to face.

I’m nowhere near halfway there. Not even close. But the vision is getting clearer, and for the first time, I can actually see how some of those things I used to call “big dreams” might become my normal.

Still a long way to go, but I know one thing: I never lost the belief. 🙏🏾
