I hate that I have to anonymise this, but we went to a cultural day today, for Austrian National day.

We were the first to arrive in European outfits, but it just grew. Traditional music and dance, prayers, and just immaculate politeness.

I used to live in Artarmon, in Sydney. There is a furniture store called Demir Leather. Big retail space, expensive products that are wildly overpriced, very few customers. The owner would park his Rolls, Bentley or Ferrari out front, each had his name as the numberplate. Everyone knew the guy was organised crime. It was joked about at the pub next door, the Great Northern. We have a serious crime issue in this country.
