The discussions that do exist about pedagogy can’t even be applied in the impossible situation of impoverished areas. I try hard to implement different curricula but their early learning was impeded by black mold in their elementary schools and barely legible textbooks.

I wish public education was stable so that teacher discourse could be about pedagogy and not how we’re all drowning in budget cuts, school buildings closing, and too many job titles.
