@jaeten26 @DripMasterFlex1 2017, was not that good. The defense was just insane. 2019 was decent offense but not on the level of 17'. 22 was great as well but the run game was that good either. The run game was horrible in 23' but the pass game was literally the best in the NFL

@VentageArod Realistically he's about 7 in the league. I wouldn't say he's elite due to his decision making but he's a great QB, easily top 10

@Brawl_w_TimPaul He is such a horrible play caller. He abaondons the run game, makes horrible decisions constantly. Offensive is incompetent at the goaline and shot yardage situations. These have all been problems since 2022 and never been fixed. I do love KOC as a coach but as a playcaller, no!

@Brawl_w_TimPaul KOC gets this "QB whisperer" label when he really only turned darn olds career around, every other qb that came into this system did not play better, other than maybe Dobbs for 1.5 games. He also gets called an elite offensive mind, while he is a great leader of men and coach.1/2

Kevin O’Connell deserves some blame for what happened to JJ McCarthy.

He repeatedly asked a first-year starting quarterback to execute an offense he clearly wasn’t comfortable running. Now KOC has simplified the passing game, committed to the run and immediately produced better results.

Why wasn’t JJ given that same help?
