@wesbury The free enterprise, capitalist system is by far the best ever created by humankind. For one thing, it works with the laws of nature instead of against them. Equally important, it offers the best opportunity to receive the most value, work and inspiration from every citizen.
@wesbury I am absolutely certain that no one knows where all of it is. We hear that there are billions of dollars of money that has been distributed to states and other places that hasnโt even been spent. And yet they keep passing more spending on top of it. Mind-boggling.
@wesbury I am left-handed and all of my hangers in my closet face right. Oddly, I have found the opposite. Usually when I am in a hotel all the hangers are facing left and I end up turning those around. Funny.
@wesbury Maybe for something to affect the real markets in the real economy it has to be real. Even if you think, crypto is real, the collapse of FTX, was primarily a problem of fraud, theft, and lack of corporate governance. It did not represent a weakness in the economic system per se.
@wesbury Both countries represent the greatest attributes and achievements of Western Civilization and culture. We should be proud of our culture and argue against those who would denigrate it for personal political gain. And we should stop those who seek to destroy it.
@JERonFNC Here is a miss to the state of California for Trying to force everyone to buy electric cars, but then telling us not to charge them during a heat wave. It reveals the weakness both of their energy policy and their climate policy.
@GavinNewsom Please do not sign the new fast food bill. It will have far-reaching damaging economic consequences that we canโt even yet calculate. Many small business owners will close or shrink. Many more will leave California. Workers will be replaced by robots. Stop!
Californiaโs miss management of the power supply has caught up to us. Right when everyone is going to need their air conditioners, we are told not to use them. And hilariously, they are telling people not to charge the electric vehicles they are trying to force everyone to buy.
@wesbury I think that is why we so often get such poor decisions from Washington. They literally donโt feel the ups and downs that the rest of the country experiences. When I grew up there, it was a lot different.
