Yesterday a lot of people told me that this victory for Karen Read was all because of me. Although I appreciate the kind words, this is far from the truth. I played a big part in it, and I've sacrificed my liberty and freedom, but I could not have done this alone. I am nothing without my supporters in this movement. I'm not going to say anyone by name, because there are too many people to list, and I don't want to slight anyone by not mentioning them. Although some have done more than others, everyone has played a role in what happened yesterday.

Karen Read is free because she has amazing lawyers who sacrificed so much for their innocent client.

Karen Read is free because she has done more than ANYONE to uncover the truth about what happened to John O'Keefe.

Karen Read is free because her amazing family never left her side and advocated for her.

Karen Read is free because I put a spotlight on this injustice and built a social movement that became the infrastructure that was used to raise over $1.1 million. This money enabled her to bring her lawyers to Boston over and over again, put them in hotels, and feed them. It enabled her to fly ARCCA and Dr. Russell here 4 times for stupid voir dires. It enabled her to go out and find Dr. Loposato - the MVP of the entire trial.

Karen Read is free because so many of you braved the cold and the elements to hold public standouts everywhere from Dedham to San Diego. You made it impossible for residents of Norfolk County NOT to have heard about this case.

Karen Read is free because Lawtubers and social media influencers used their platforms to spread awareness about this horrible injustice and raise money for her legal defense.

Karen Read is free because hundreds of thousands of regular people donated what they could.

Hearing your cheers from inside the courtroom and coming down those steps of the courthouse was the greatest feeling I've had since the birth of my children. Thank you to EVERYONE who helped out. You all played a role in this and should be very proud of what we accomplished. Good has defeated evil.
