The argument I appreciated the most is why can we make statements on racism but statements like Danvers are "not needed". This is a common arguement in the SBC.
PCA General Assembly just had a healthy debate on Overture 61 regarding "Declaring the Danvers Statement as a Biblicaly Faithful Declaration"
Based on the vocal vote it sounds like it will fail. They now are using the clickers so who knows.
The more familiar a parable, the more it cries out to be rescued from the barnacles that have attached themselves to it over the centuries.
