@TroyMooney Management by walking around. It’s great for morale too! Gives a sense of team. Solve one problem for a teacher between classes and your whole staff eventually knows.
@TroyMooney For me, that was a yearly exercise. Always thought it was really important to review where we were spending our time and the value we were placing on all campus initiatives.
@TroyMooney Shocked at the pushback storm against vouchers. Really thought the votes were there for a slam dunk this time. Apparently, common sense is prevailing.
@TroyMooney So….the student is magically worth more to the private school, but comes with none of the supports or testing requirements mandated to public? Seems like that voucher is worth more than 10k when you add the hidden costs required for the same child in a public setting.
@TroyMooney@teainfo I do feel like standardized lessons are in theory a good idea despite the fact that I’ve always felt the planning process helped teachers really think through how their students would receive and master concepts. If I thought TEA would do a good job with it, I’d be 100% in favor.
@TroyMooney@nathancunneen How did I know Nathaniel’s profile would reveal that he is a school choice advocate aka voucher vandal? Same old tired argument. We tried to give public schools money. What a bait and switch argument.
