Hello, Virat.
I just watched your interview on the RCB YouTube channel, and trust me when I say this, I laughed like that after a long long time.
You survived five years of abysmal form in Test cricket, averaging 30.72 and scoring only three centuries across that entire period, solely because of your past achievements and India’s “hero-worship” culture.
Had you played for countries like South Africa, Australia, England or even the West Indies, you would’ve been shown the door long ago.
So instead of complaining, be thankful you got far more time than most cricketers ever would. You should blame only yourself for not trying hard enough. You should be ashamed for taking the format that, according to you, is “five levels above anything else in cricket” for granted.
You never fixed your outside off-stump weakness and eventually, it caught up with you.
And if you’re still unhappy with the BCCI’s decision, remember one thing:
you are not bigger than the game.
So, you can go back to your home in London, get holed up in your bedroom, and cry like a baby.
PS: Self-proclaiming yourself as “king” is unbearably cringe.
She was born and raised in Mumbai
Her father shifted to Mumbai long before TMC came to power.
What connection does she have with Bengal except the surname?
What struggles is she talking about?
@TheRupali has learnt the art of giving fake bhashan from Paw Paw
Scumbag chaddi. ( Illiteracy is the cornerstone of a Hallmarked chaddi, ofc)
Satyajit Ray directed movies based on stories of various authors such as Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay, Raj Shekhar Basu, Tarashankar Bandyopadhyay etc
Watch Jalshaghar or Devi. Jalshaghar was written by Tarashankar Bandyopadhyay.
The movie where he used his own original screenplay was Kanchenjunga. Watch the movie and see what elitism is.
Since you are an illiterate I am not even suggesting the stories he himself wrote.
Sachin Tendulkar batted with a higher strike rate on South African pitches in 2003 than Kohli did on Indian roads in 2023. What kind of clubbing is this..?? 😭😭😭
Sachin Tendulkar once shared that he used to visit the temple before every match, often at 3-4 AM, drink water from the tap for energy, and pray to Ganesha.
What started as a habit became a ritual he followed until his final game in 2013.
Not many know. Me and USA captain Monank Patel were invited to his hotel room at Taj Bengal on the eve of an ODI vs Sri Lanka in December 2009. It was astonishing to find he had set up a temporary mandir on the table next to his bed with his his adidas match bat leaning on it. Powerful visual. Even god prays!!
Mamata Banarjee is nightmare for BJP ☠️🔥
She came up with poster of Modi where he is sitting while President Draupadi Murmu is standing
TMC : 01 || BJP : 00 🫡
Ah, the beauty of two Indias- in one, a comedian is questioned for talking about the ‘TWO INDIA’ divide. In the other, the same debate becomes the perfect PR for a tour announcement. Democracy does have a sense of humour. Wishing you house full shows and a smashing tour ahead @thevirdas !
I knew India’s economy was going to be cooked when I saw 2 Rs Twitter troll Rishi Bagree sitting next to the Finance Minister in her office and advising her on economy 😭
This is the same office where people like Manmohan Singh wrote India’s future.
Unreal downfall.
I think Sachin Tendulkar is one of those really really few people in India who can get appointment from President, PM, HM and LoP on the very same day, for extending a wedding invitation.
Truly incomparable stature.
🚨 KL Rahul takes an indirect dig at Sanjiv Goenka in recent Podcast 🚨
KL Rahul said: “No matter what you do, or how many boxes you tick, there is nothing in sport that guarantees victory. That’s the hardest thing to explain to people who come from a non-sporting background.
After a point, it can feel like you’re constantly being questioned: Why did you make this change? Why did Jatin play in that role? Why did the opposition score 200 and we couldn’t even reach 120? Why are their bowlers getting more spin?
So I had to explain all of this right up to the ownership level as a captain. I honestly didn’t feel as drained in 10 months of playing international cricket as I did in just those two months of playing the IPL.” [HOB]
