Well somehow we managed to make it to the end of the season, when at times it seemed we may have folded. Week after week it was a struggle to get in players due to the reputation the club has gained. Eye opening experience for me and one I’ll learn from
Last game of the season for us today, and another tough fixture following their impressive win over Tividale in midweek. Somehow we’ve made it to the end and kept the club going. It’s easy when the going is good, tough times don’t last, tough people do #LastLeagueFixture
Proud of our young lads today. After conceding an early goal, and being 3-0 down at half time, they could’ve easily capitulated and suffered a heavy defeat. Instead they kept trying to play ‘the right way’, again half the team being teenagers #playthekids
Gutted for the lads to lose 2-1 against @WemTownFC, a couple of individual errors leading to the goals. Couldn’t be prouder of this young squad. Average age of our back 4 and goalkeeper tonight was 17.2 years old, yet some people think we’re gonna go out and smash teams #GetReal
@DeanGillTG @neilperks@ashcauser79@WemTownFC Clubs lose games when the older heads message at 1pm on a Saturday and say they cba to play anymore, so inevitably u have to call the youngsters up
@ashcauser79@WemTownFC That’s the situation we’re in at the minute, I prefer to go with the kids rather than the mercenaries. Yet some people expect us to win the league after the massive rebuild we’ve had to do
Another tough game tomorrow night against @WemTownFC. We continue the battle of getting a squad together. Last 15 minutes of last Saturdays game we finished with 3x 16 year olds playing in the back four
