I've been a teacher in all black, all white, and mixed schools, in mid size towns with multiple schools.

This is the unfortunate reality.
The performance outcome and disturbance/fighting/violence metrics are consistent.

All black: low relative performance outcomes / high disturbance/fight/violence rates

All white: high relative performance / low disturbance/fight/violence rates

Mixed: a mix of both / literally

The reasons for this are many, historical, socioeconomic, parenting associated with the former two.

All kids deserve a chance. I don't know the answers.
