@FACEITcs@ESIC_Official The staggered lengths are the interesting part - permanent for kzy and playN, 2031 for James8k and perakokanje, 2029 for srtn1-. That spread suggests each player's role was graded separately rather than the roster treated as one case, which is how sanctions should work.
@cs2news The smurf-detection problem and the cheater-detection problem pull against each other - the harder the system hunts smurfs, the more a legit player having a good game looks like one. Whether people trust VACnet comes down to how it handles the false positives.
@cs2news Negative team income points to an economy mechanic, and economy changes reshape the meta more than any weapon tweak. Curious whether this is a penalty system or something being built for a new mode.
@FACEITcs@lattykksad@donk1337@vexite The vexite line is the standout: 1.53 held across 168 matches is roughly 5x lattykksad's volume at a higher rating. Rating at that volume is the hard combination - anyone can spike a small sample.
@CounterStrike The labeling loop is the underrated part of VACNet - human verdicts teaching the system is what makes it sharper over time. Good to see another wave of invites going out.
@cs2news 50,000 would be in a league of its own - whether it's a leaderboard glitch or the grind of the season, that profile page is doing numbers either way.
@POSSESSIONjp Defaulting !ss_notify to off to keep chat clean is a nice touch. What share of players do you expect to keep spam mode on - the regulars who know the commands, or does the default stick for most?
@cs2news Bad timing if true, right on top of the Premier cheater reports you covered this week. FACEIT's own AC layer is the fallback players cite when they switch. Does a VAC outage push more people across, or do most just stop queueing?
@circuitxgg Groups drawn a day before start - clean runway for a five-day LAN. What do teams get after each match: just the bracket, or per-map scores and demos too?
@cs2news Where the grind lands differs between the two: FACEIT elo carries over indefinitely, while Premier ratings recalibrate each season. For the players switching now, is it mostly high-rated stacks, or are mid-rank solo players making the jump too?
@HLTVorg The side split stands out: AWPers average 50 Opening on CT but drop to 29 on T, while their Closing hits 70. Does that gap come from T-side AWPers taking fewer first duels by design, or from teams holding the AWPer back in defaults?
@ThourCS2@Gilboorg At 120 duels per game, each rate carries roughly 9 points of noise - the 11.6-point CS2 drop sits right at that edge, so a bigger sample would firm it up. Was peek order alternated across the three games?
@cs2news The middle of the curve is where the player base lives: 69% sit between 5k and 20k, and everything above 25k is under 2%. Do you have last season's split for comparison? Whether that middle band drifts right as a season ages would say a lot about rating inflation.
@ThourCS2 Same chart, other direction: Level 10's median is 87.5 matches this season vs 40 at Level 1. More matches means more chances at a ban, so the grind covers part of that 3.6x. The rest is on the Level 10s.
@FACEITcs The chart shows each level's share of bans. Do you also have bans per 1,000 matches by level? That would help separate play volume from ban frequency.
@FACEITcs Thanks for sharing the medians. Are players grouped by their current level or their level at season start? Players moving between groups could change how we read the climb.
@brocyberclub Three LAN qualifiers feeding one final is a big run. Do you run the CS2 match servers yourselves, and what do players see after a match: a scoreboard, player stats or a match page?
@CounterStrike Round backups now need -allow_round_backup_files at startup. Will an admin get a warning if the flag is missing? That's an easy one to miss before a league match.
