@NickNashBeats The Question should be 'Who created the Original Melody which the Artist/Songwriter wrote too?' That should be what determines if the Original Producer should receive a Publishing (%) payment even for other Remixes.
@joesqueso I am starting to think that this producer collaboration thing is just a way for some to make up the loss difference from obtaining placement? I Could be wrong but with the massive Beatmaker/Producer abundance now a days it seems to make sense that its become difficult for most.
@ivyskyofficial If you looking for Headphones with a proper frequency (Sound Quality) response and excellent noise cancellation checkout Sony WH-1000XM3 Headphones.
@VCiPz@StudioNicktendo You're right! Unfortunately a lot of New & Unexperience Artists use ignorance as a defense. They don't understand the business side of things & long term ramification when they sample or steal beats. They think they're Winning from not spending money when they're actually losing!
@MusicPathsNI @KalOnDaBeat @MusicMarketingA There's alot of Artists with Good Music out there. However, I always tell them 'If no one knows who they are.. as Good as their Music is it never goes anywhere'. Marketing/Promotions music is vital. A budget for paying for it is a necessity for Longevity.
@VBGDXQST @Spotify $0.0039/stream with 1 Million Streams is $3900. For most unsigned/unknown Artists that could take a year or more to reach. How can they survive from that especially now a day without Live performances? A penny per stream is at least reasonable.
@horuhesan @jayceneptune It is Sad if any Producer Pays unknown Rappers for a Placement when lots of Artists pay for Beats. I always feel that Non Commercialized Rappers who charge can just go to websites like looperman & finesse desperate Beatmakers/Producers there.
@Akademiks Must be animosity there! When a Producer helps establish Rappers with hits they're amicable. Most Producers who raise their prices to $80k are sending a message to 'Pay the price or Buy a Beat Somewhere else' because they don't care to work with them cause they dont need them!
@55true4u Don't participate in the fruitless works of darkness, but instead expose them. Everything exposed by the #Light is made clear, for what makes everything clear is #Light. EPH 5: 11 and 14.
God makes it clear. This is a fallen world. There is hope in Jesus ๐ #Intervention2020 ๐
@JimmyJavier It depends. The A&R might of found something they like somewhere else & may have forgotten to reply back. However, if someone else like a Talent Artist wanted to license (Buy) the Beat for a substantial amount of money. Sell it to them! Nothing is Guaranteed in the Music biz IMO.
@BasikNature For a Music Producer Placements mean obtaining clients (Artists, Record labels, Media Companies etc.) Who Buy their Beats & produce songs that are heard. It also mean obtaining a Music Publishing deal and platform for their Beats.
@FrancisBrixton I've been trying to Figure out how those types of Artist's succeed if at all? It Really makes no sense that Artists believe they can succeed in Music today without a Budget for their Music.
@BlackAgbada You're right. Producers should make sure they get paid upfront. The ones depending on royalties alone will only be considered hobbyist especially if a song isn't released & does not accumulate Royalties. Business is Business 1st.
@hayzedaproducer @kazzaprod I'm wondering does todays generation of producers actually play chords & notes as a majority oppose to using loops alone? I was always under the impression that most producers play the key notes and chords when composing a beat.
@disciples_sound@Beats4TrapMusic Good Points. It's become a redundancy of this occurrence now a days; but what's more noticeable is that 99.99% seem to be Hobbyists as oppose to seriously striving towards a legit career. 0.01% Might be the exception with actual Budgets!
@XXL That's 50 Times more than some Artists total recordings in their whole career. Extremely time consuming as well. He must of literally lived in the studio for a couple years.
@younglepabeats I could never understand why some Producers brag? Humilityย is the key to success. Some might take longer but eventually whiles being humble it will occur!
@DjayCas @cashparadox Why would people pay for a Beat before they hear it? Lol..that makes No sense. 99.9% of people pay for Beats they like from listening to them 1st. I was just saying Artists should pay a deposit (if they haven't all the money upfront 1st) & the rest after they record on the Beat.
