@donmcgowan Theory on this, by the mid 00’s, the DEI grift industry needed to create more racism that existed to perpetuate thier grift. Had they not done that, it could be argued that we would have continued on the path we were on and you wouldn’t be experiencing what you describe.
@bestofStarTrek Big fan of Janeway and Mulgrew’s portrayal of her, like a mother protecting her family and then making the sacrifice in the end for their happiness, a fascinating look at the positive and at times negative traits of female leaders
@simonmaechling Nonsense, firstly having trust in science is a strange term, like science is an entity, its a set of ideas and principles that change and mature over time. Most people will think very little about it to be honest and when they do it’s usual to challenge it, that’s healthy
@hb_history What’s your point? The parents know what their kids are signing up for when they get into Michaela. And heaven forbid they might end up being one of the kids who gets outstanding GCSE results at Michaela! @Miss_Snuffy
@LibertyCappy And all I want is the society from Starship Troopers - “A citizen has the courage to make the safety of the human race their personal responsibility”
@JonathanWiltsh7@JackHadders@ZiaYusufUK “- Uses powers for the wrong purpose (e.g. political punishment rather than policy need)
- Makes decisions that are irrational (ignoring all normal factors like cost, safety, suitability”
Just like our current approach to immigration then.
@Miss_Snuffy The moral core of the west was fractured when no one went to prison for the 2008 financial crash. The fact that no one at C-level or in the regulators was held accountable for what they inflicted on people has caused immediate damage to how people view right/wrong.
