I think 1 is a fair point, but if his first loss happens after months of wins people will get tired of him. Losing to Brock doesn't make him any less imposing

He's either treading water or looking weaker. Brock is the right choice to get him into the top title scene.

Brock may not need the win, but Oba needs something more to stay interesting. A loss to Brock provides that opportunity.
