“Hopefully America Will Understand”: JPMorgan CEO Warns US Against Punishing India 🇮🇳⚡️

Jamie Dimon has warned Washington against targeting India over Russian oil, saying such action could also destabilise global energy markets.

> India buys crude according to its national requirements
> Refineries cannot replace every crude grade overnight
> Disrupting Russian supplies could raise global oil prices
> American consumers would also face the consequences
> Dimon opposed imposing tariffs on oil purchases

The US can impose tariffs of up to 100% on major Russian-energy buyers. Punishing India for protecting its energy security is coercion, not diplomacy.

India is not an American client state. It will buy energy on terms that serve its people. Hopefully, America understands that partnerships require respect, not threats.
