Most prominently, the non-penetrating optronic mast showcases a distinctly angular and rectangular design, indicating an effort to reduce the radar signature of this next-generation surveillance equipment. Keep in mind this should be the only object protruding from the water when the Hangor operates near the surface.
Second, images also confirm anti-torpedo decoy launcher openings at the extreme aft of the hull, highlighting the incoporation of a passive defensive feature not always found on submarines. There appear to be six such openings for anti-torpedo decoys.
