If Peter Gregrory Obi had followed the trend of other greedy former Governors in Nigeria, to encourage and sign off on State pensions and privilege laws, the airport rats and Keyamo would not have had access to clamp on the wheels of the vehicle that dropped him off at the Abuja airport.

Its so pathetically and painfully obvious that being humble, decent and corrupt free in Nigeria comes with a price and that's what Peter Obi is paying.

In Nigeria today, the exact scale of security provided to an ex-governor varies by state, as governed by local executive pension laws passed by their respective State Houses of Assembly. For example:

1. Lagos State: Under its gubernatorial privileges, a former governor is entitled to a lifelong security detail consisting of eight police officers and two State Security Service (DSS) operatives.

2. Ebonyi State: State legislation similarly provisions six policemen and three DSS officials to protect former governors.

If Peter Obi has been as greedy, noisy and insensitive to the plight and waste of resources of Ndi Anambra , like Dave Umahi and other former Governors were, he would have created , enabled and signed into law State pension act that allowed Ndi Anambra to provide him with 8 POLICE OFFICERS AND 3 DSS OFFICERS [ PAID FROM NDI ANAMBRA FAAC ALLOCATIONS FROM 2014 TILL DATE ]

If Peter Obi had such retinue of security aides following him in a convoy of vehicles, [ paid by Ndi Anambra], and he had used the usual VIP wing [ insulating himself from the mass of Nigeria people, like the other political bandits], Keyamo and his airport touts would not have had any access to clamp the wheel of any of his SUVs ....

Former Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte was famously known for riding his bicycle to work. The man showed so much humility and decency in power despite presiding over a $1.25trillion sized economy ...an economy that is 5 times bigger than the Nigerian economy
