@tompfeifferfit@adamdobson123 Different positions create different loads in the body. Muscles, tendons, ligaments and even bones adapt with load. What is your point ?
@ThePrehabGuys Funny enough, there are 50% fast twitch fibers in those bad boys. What are your thoughts on adding some heavy and explosive acceleration/deceleration to shoulder prehab ? I have yet to see those drills from you, or maybe I missed it ?
@AlexisMLeveille @JoewilsonPT @DrSethPT I know this to be the case in Germany at least, where physios (still!) do not follow the academic route by default. Huge letdown for other countries.
@AlexisMLeveille @JoewilsonPT The problem is we are still getting taught this in training and continuous education. I hope we will continue to do better.
@AdamMeakins Not playing devils advocate but is there a difference in risk when doing neck HVLA ? For my OMT I learned gapping, traction and rotation. Rotation being considered "higher risk" we were discouraged from doing them.
@DerekGriffin86@GregLehman This is the first time I have read about it in this particular sport/rehab context. So I am wondering if we are just slapping the word "strides" on something that are just submaximal sprints ? Striding has always been walking with big steps for me, not running.
@GregLehman@DerekGriffin86 A fancy way of sprinting at 60-70%. In the end it is just running faster than a jog and slower than a sprint or am I missing something ?
Picking the right shoes can help with Achilles pain. Higher heel toe drop & a rocker sole can reduce load while a cushioned heel cup can reduce painful friction on the tendon & its insertion. Find out about tendinopathy rehab in our free video at https://t.co/KEji9T24t3
