1/5 Yesterday, we were able to assist people on the move as soon as we woke up. We then had the possibility and duty of accompanying other people looking for safety, and while we were doing so, we spotted in the distance five more boats. We heard as well several calls for help

4/5 This boat sunk while we were with the people, fortunately we had already give lifejackets. This was a catastrophic and completely avoidable situation if people had freedom of movement. We took them on board of Mare*Go, and the Italian Coast Guard asked us to transfer

Today we could help other people find a safe passage after being in distress at sea. We want people to be able to freely move with no danger and no violence!

Today we were able to assist people in distress, they had been at sea for four days in incredibly difficult conditions. This was all possible due to our friends SY Dakini and of course @alarmphone that alerted us in the first place!
