Jean Luc DuPreez met un terme à sa carrière.

@UBBrugby doit donc recruter un flanker de très haut niveau qui soit plutôt un 6 (blindside flanker) et avec une grosse dimension physique.
C’est capital si ils veulent faire mieux en Top 14.

Le Toulouse FC prend acte de la décision de la Commission de Discipline de la @LFPfr d’entériner le score de la rencontre #FCNTFC, tout en s’interrogeant sur le bien-fondé de celle-ci.

Nous regrettons que cette rencontre n’ait pu aller à son terme dans des conditions normales et nous nous interrogeons sur ce que le Club aurait concrètement pu faire, dans un tel contexte, pour permettre au match de se terminer.

Nous resterons également attentifs aux potentielles dérives qu’une telle décision pourrait entraîner à l’avenir.

Le Toulouse FC retient enfin la très belle saison réalisée par le groupe et le staff, conclue par une 9ème place de @Ligue1.

Le Club se réserve par ailleurs le droit de faire appel de cette décision dans les délais réglementaires.

This weekends rugby feels a bit off if you’re being honest.

Connacht and Ulster don’t look like they’re fully at it. Leinster the complete opposite — gone strong, no messing. Cullen clearly not letting another semi-final creep up on them half-ready.

Ulster basically naming a D team… Munster could win that by 30–40. Anyone who got on -10 early has done well, that line is going to look silly by kick-off.

Connacht is the strange one. Bench looks stronger than the team — Murray, Jansen, Devine, Naughton all probably starters. Maybe they’re backing themselves to finish strong and chase a bonus late? Could work… could also backfire badly. You wouldn’t be shocked if they score 15 or 45. Handicap was Lions -10, it will end up Lions -20.

Leinster just need to take care of business now with the table the way it is. Stormers, Glasgow, Leinster could all end up level — one slip and you’re in trouble.

To me it just looks like some teams are targeting this weekend and others aren’t.

Ça manque de porteurs de balle devant mais c’est peut être le synonyme d’une animation où on privilégie l’avancée avec nos 3/4 et que le banc achève sur la puissance avec des avants plus porteurs (Nouchi, Mauvaka, Meafou).

🚨 No Player Is Bigger Than the All Blacks: The Ardie Savea Debate and a System in Crisis

This morning, rugby circles erupted following reports of growing unrest among senior All Blacks players. One of the names most prominently mentioned is Ardie Savea a world-class talent, a leader, and undeniably one of the best loose forwards of his generation.

Reports suggest this dissatisfaction has been simmering since the All Blacks failed to complete a Grand Slam last year. While player frustration is understandable in high-performance environments, this situation raises a far bigger and more uncomfortable question:

Who really holds the power in New Zealand rugby right now?

Let’s be clear from the outset: no player is bigger than the All Blacks jersey. Not Ardie Savea. Not past legends. Not future greats. The black jersey has always stood for something greater than the individual wearing it humility, standards, and collective responsibility.

If Ardie Savea genuinely wants to leave New Zealand rugby or has threatened to do so, then perhaps the hardest but fairest response is this: stay in Japan, and don’t come back. The All Blacks brand cannot afford to bend to individual leverage, no matter how elite the player. Once that door opens, the culture erodes and history shows that once lost, it is incredibly difficult to rebuild.

A Coaching Structure Without Authority or Identity

That said, placing the blame solely on players would be lazy analysis.

The deeper issue lies within the coaching and leadership structure, which currently appears fragmented, inconsistent, and devoid of a clear rugby philosophy. There is no visible seniority, no unified direction, and no coherent system designed to extract peak performance from arguably the most talented player pool in world rugby.

Since Ian Foster’s departure who, in fairness, also struggled to stamp authority and consistency the All Blacks environment has felt chaotic. Decision-making appears reactive rather than strategic, and players seem unsure of both their roles and the broader vision.

At this point, incremental change is no longer enough.

Either Scott “Razor” Robertson must be given full authority to lead with clarity and conviction, or New Zealand Rugby must consider a far more drastic reset one that includes moving on from all remnants of the old regime, including Steve Hansen’s ongoing influence. The current halfway house benefits no one.

Also, Since 2019, there has been a glaring absence of one crucial element: pride in the All Blacks jersey. This is not new for anyone who’s followed this team.

ABs 2025 review is done and dusted, it’s time for NZR step in and step up with solutions that HELP this group move forward & not backwards.
