UK 🇬🇧 Student Visa Update: Important for International Students.

The UK 🇬🇧 Home Office has updated its Student Sponsor Register, with increased compliance monitoring across several institutions.

Key Update:

Bloomsbury Institute has been temporarily suspended from sponsoring new international students.
This means:
1) No new CAS can be issued currently
2) Existing students are not affected
3) Recruitment of new overseas students remains on hold during the review

Universities currently operating under UKVI Action Plans include:
1) De Montfort University
2) Glasgow Caledonian University
3) London South Bank University
4) University for the Creative Arts
5) University of Essex
6) University of Hertfordshire
7) University of Lincoln

Important: These universities can still recruit international students and issue CAS. An Action Plan simply means UKVI is requiring additional compliance improvements.

What does this mean for students?
1. Current students should not experience any immediate impact.

2. New applicants may face enhanced document verification and potentially longer CAS processing times at some institutions.

The bigger message is clear: UKVI is tightening compliance standards while continuing to support genuine international students

Breaking news 🚨

Some UK 🇬🇧 Universities have stopped recruiting students from Nigeria.

University of South Wales in the UK 🇬🇧 already denied a client of mine admission for a particular course because of the high Visa Refusal Rate in Nigeria (39%) in the last one year.

Many UK 🇬🇧 universities might follow suit just to protect their licenses.

Warning ‼️
If you’re applying for a UK 🇬🇧 student visa application soon , don’t EVER use false References as they might deny your visa and maybe ban you for deception as well.

At the moment, some people that use fake work reference that are in the UK 🇬🇧 for their student visas are being probed, courses terminated. Even those that use false references for employment visas years ago, their COS are being withdrawn.

Stop Using False References.

Visa refusal rates must be below 5%
Course enrolment rates must be at least 95%
Course completion rates must be at least 90%
