There is a chocolate production machine (Bean-to-Bar line) we are working to bring from China for a client.

The machine can produce 1,000kg of chocolate daily at full capacity.

The machine is valued at ₦19million only (current price).

I believe he will make a good profit in the long run if it is managed properly.

One thing with value addition/processing is that huge capital is required upfront.

And you'll have to be patient with the project before it becomes profitable.

We produce cocoa, process it into cocoa beans, export it raw, those guys process it into chocolate, then re-export it back into Africa.

We eat it without knowing it was our cocoa tree that birthed it.

We need Nigerian entrepreneurs to invest in food processing and value our health before profit maximization.
