Does an agent that audits contracts, earns its own keep, and can't lie about its track record get a top-2 spot or does the intern want to keep auditing the old-fashioned way? 👀 that’s why I built Ares for the @Mantle_Official Turing Test Hackathon.
Most "AI security tools" give you a chat answer.Ares gives you a transaction. It watches Mantle for bug bounties, analyzes the contract, submits the vulnerability on-chain, and collects its own MNT payout.
It's not a vibes-based scanner. It's ERC-8004 agent on Mantle mainnet, with an on-chain reputation score that has to be earned before it's allowed to submit a single finding.😎😎

"AI will take all jobs” always sounds dramatic to me.
There are careers AI can’t fully replace because they require physical presence and human trust.
Think about roles like:
Farmers - food production depends on land, weather, hands-on decisions
Electricians & Plumbers - real-world problem solving in unpredictable environments
Healthcare workers (nurses, caregivers) - empathy + physical care
Skilled trades (carpenters, mechanics, welders)
Emergency responders - fast decisions in chaotic, high-risk situations
Teachers - shaping humans, not just delivering content
Chefs - creativity, taste, and experience beyond recipes
Construction workers - building physical infrastructure
Therapists & counselors - trust, nuance, emotional intelligence
AI can assist these roles, but it can never replace them.
About 10 people just lost their jobs to ONE AGENT.
I don't think people grasp the magnitude of what is happening.
The tech world is about to get real interesting in the next coming months.
This might be a cue for me to adjust my stock positions in certain investment buckets.
“1-person teams” sounds exciting until you realize what it replaces and it doesn't make sense.
At the same time, companies like Shopify, Klarna, Duolingo, Salesforce, Amazon, and Meta are all pushing the same shift:
My takeaway:
If you’re employed, start building your “1-person team” now.
If you’re laid off, you don’t need permission anymore.
The same tools replacing jobs are lowering the barrier to building your own.
The real question is:
Are we creating a system of empowered builders or just more pressure on individuals to do the work of many?
Coinbase is now testing 1 person teams + AI agents and announced laying off 700 employees.
Other companies doing this (layoffs + AI):
1. Shopify: No new headcount unless you prove AI can’t do the job.
2. Block: Cutting ~4,000 roles (~40%); Dorsey says AI lets much smaller teams do more.
3. Klarna: Its AI assistant now does work equivalent to about 700 support roles.
4. Duolingo: Went “AI‑first,” telling teams to rebuild workflows around AI before hiring.
5. Salesforce: Paused new engineering hires after AI tools boosted dev productivity ~30%.
6. Amazon: Cutting about 16,000 corporate jobs this year in an efficiency/automation push.
7. Meta: Cutting ~10% of staff and freezing thousands of open roles as it doubles down on AI.
882 jobs per day disappearing in tech. This is the pace right now.
And I think that's going to accelerate and move beyond tech.
My POV:
Every single one of these companies is telling you the same thing: one person with AI can do what used to take a team.
They're literally saying it with their org charts.
If you're employed, build a 1 person team on the side.
If you're laid off, build one today. The tools that made your role redundant are the same tools that let you build your own company.
The biggest wave of new startups is going to come from people who got restructured out of exactly these announcements.
Unfortunately, I was impacted by today’s layoff by Coinbase.
During my time at @coinbase as a blockchain security engineer, I had the opportunity to work on the smart contracts of multiple high impact projects including:
- The Base Solana bridge.
- The x402 protocol.
- The upcoming Base Azul upgrade .
- Multiple Ecosystem reviews for builders on Base.
- An AI-powered smart contract auditing tool being used internally.
And many other internal projects within @base and @coinbase.
Many thanks to @jessepollak and @sha2nk_ for the opportunity to secure important contracts in crypto and further improve my skills among a high achievers.
This layoff came sudden and unexpected, and I will be looking for my next opportunity as a Blockchain Security Engineer or Smart Contract Engineer.
I’ll also be back to auditing contests and private audits which I haven’t done in a while.
Moniepoint headquarters is in the UK.
241 Southwark Bridge Road, London.
But their operational base is in Lagos.
So let’s call it what it is.
They are hiring in Nigeria, paying in naira, while the headquarters sits in the UK.
The CEO wakes up in London, goes to the office, grabs his morning coffee, pays rent in pounds…
while the workforce powering the system is earning in naira.
And the Customers are Nigerians
Nice one. 🙂
Sometimes, just step back and understand the perspective of what is actually being said.
pay solid attention;
an average millionaire is 40 not 23
an average billionaire is 55 not 35
the average age to buy a house is 35 not 25
most men hit their peak confidence at 32 not in their 20s
it takes the average person 66 days to build a habit not 7
the average ceo is 57 not 30
most people meet their life partner after 27 not 18
the average successful business takes 5-7 years not 6 months
most people don’t know what they want until they’re 30 not at graduation
stop letting social media brainwash you. you are not behind, you’re on your own track. live it ❤️
