本日は法務省へ。｢性同一性障害特例法｣の廃止署名と陳情を提出しました。
数名の国会議員事務所に相談しましたが、少数野党では法案提出もできず、受け取ってその先どうにもできない、法務省に直接渡した方がよい、とのアドバイスで、直接提出しました。
私は寄付を伴う署名はできないため、お仲間の青谷さんが署名を引き受けてくれました。
いつも矢面に立ってくれて、本当に感謝です。

I wonder if this is the kind of person the BBC’s Nick Robinson had in mind when he made this comment during a recent BBC Radio 4 interview about the EHRC’s guidance on single-sex spaces.

And I wonder whether he realises that, if people were entitled to have their ‘adopted sex’ recognised under equality law, women would be unable to exclude men like this from their changing rooms, toilets and even domestic violence refuges.

I also wonder whether he would want that for his wife or daughter. Or feel it was ‘dignified.’
