Comfort is easy and growth is hard.
That’s why most people stay comfortable and wonder why their life never changes.
Growth happens when you do what feels uncomfortable, not when you avoid it.
Do one uncomfortable thing today that moves your life forward.
That’s where real growth begins.
Happy Sunday
this is the reminder we all need sometimes.
whatever you’re going through right now is a chapter, not the whole story. Keep holding on, keep moving forward, and trust that better days will come.
They want to be distant? Let them. Let me focus on my own peace.
They don't value my standards? Let them. Let me walk away or protect my boundaries.
They want to judge my choices? Let them. Let me build a life I’m proud of.
“Let me” focus on what I can actually control.✨
A reminder from Atomic Habits by James Clear:
“New goals don't deliver new results. New lifestyles do. And a lifestyle is a process, not an outcome. For this reason, all of your energy should go into building better habits, not chasing better results.”
Before you call someone olodo, ask what built the system where being loud or provocative pays better than being thoughtful. Incentives shape behavior more than opinions do.
Making students realise the full extent of their actions by giving them a taste of their own medicine and making them take responsibility for these actions, this is the true education that the EPPB seeks. This got me 🔥🔥#TeachYouaLessonEp01#kdrama
The realest part of “Yumi’s Cells” is how it shows that a breakup doesn't always need a massive villain. Sometimes two people genuinely love each other but their communication styles, timing, and unspoken anxieties just slowly corrode the relationship. It's devastating.
When this little girl said she was ugly; her hairdresser went into MOM mode!
She literally poured life into the little girl.
This Brought me to tears. 🥹❤️🫶
I just found a beautiful scripture: Isaiah 41:10.
There will always be trials and tribulations in life, but God will carry you through every storm in your life. And give you strength to make it, even when you feel like you can't.🤍
Imagine losing four daughters on the same day?
That was what Horatio Spafford had to go through in 1973 when the ship his 4 daughters and wife boarded collided with another ship. Only his wife survived.
Just two years before in 1972, he had lost his only son, then a fire outbreak in Chicago had left him bankrupt.
On his journey to join his wife, he wrote the lyrics to “It Is Well With My Soul” as his ship sailed past the exact spot he lost his daughters.
A lot of us imagine what Lot in the bible must have gone through, Horatio Spafford went through something similar in real life.
When you hear some of us talk about God, It's not that we're trying to sound holy.
It's because we've seen Him come through in our lives. Personally, It's either God or God or God...
A friend jokingly said “you don’t know how many times I cried while in the bathroom in this house, a silent battle I fought”
I said “I heard your cries, God heard them too, and instead of asking you what’s going on, I prayed for you, I fasted for whatever it is to pass, I knew you dint want to share and that’s fine”
Glad I’m a better friend to those who leaned on me. I may not have what they need or give the comfort they desire, but I have GOD!!!
