@ThrillaRilla369 Starting early 70's (early teen) my friend and I would ride her pony along the creek for miles and back. Lunch was apples from farmers orchard. Ride bikes in neighborhood most of day. Always adventures! Home when hungry.

@JunusAnna @fivesolasmom We retired from military where we intended to retire. 6 of our 9 grands are here. I help w/dr appts, school trans, some sitting but not full time. My other 3 live in other states. We all visit and video chat. Moving is not happening.

@NinaPanickssery I help babysitting, school transport, dr appts. Presumptuous to say 'disinterest.' We have a life outside our kids/grands. Your post smacks of entitlement. 'Use?' Parents need to think about these needs before having kids. We grands are still working.
