Exploring Scroll data in anticipation of $SCROLL

a) Activity

• 3M total wallets

• Half of these with less than 20 TXs

b) Marks

• 1,4M wallets with less than 10 Marks ��which means they didn't spend gas fees during Session 0 and put almost 0 liquidity on Scroll

• 650k more wallets with less than 100 marks, which is crazy considering how easy it is to reach this milestone

c) Wallet balance

Some people never learn...

I know balance criteria are shit, but how can you hold less than $10 and expect an airdrop after what Starknet did? Even if you don't agree with the rules you should cover yourself

• 1,5M wallets with a balance lower than $10 (there are probably plenty of wallets that just left Scroll tho)

d) Badges

• Only 140,000 wallets have more than 5 badges. This is enough to be in the top 5%.

As I said before, you should mint badges to cover all potential criteria, but don't fall in the trap to mint all badges.
Some projects are just here to milk your fees by releasing as many badges as possible.

e) Conclusion

Scroll has been quite underfarmed compared to other projects since the beginning, and they choose the 'liquidity' route

However, they gave a lot of marks for early gas fees spenders

They are also winning the TVL race against other projects, even Linea that choose the same route, showing a bigger interest for Scroll in general

Data show that many wallets are basically out of the race for a future allocation, considering the low amount of marks they have (remember that marks represent both liquidity on chain and previous gas fees spent, they don't only favor whales)

If Scroll team want it, they can do it fair, but they would need to find a solution for top wallets:

• Vesting?
• Capped allocation?
• Pre-sale opportunity instead of airdrop for top wallets?

There are many possibilities. One thing is sure, the issue is not easy to solve.
