For real, Metal Virus arc was the equivalent of Shibuya arc. Characters "dying" every issue, Sonic losing his sanity/saving people/running nonstop, friends making sacrifices and it was TERRIFYING.

Then IDW said, "Flynn, you're cooking too much, don't ever do that again."
