@ProjectMyst@XSi1entSpartanX@xMBGx Also depends on what your preferred platform is and if you think the AI boom ends within 4 years or not. If you think the price hikes won't stop and you prefer PC, then they should launch sooner.. to show how much new hardware costs these days making the GabeCube seem reasonable
@SuperSisi Those consoles do they come with games? Or would I have to buy a Steam machine anyways to search for 2nd hand copies or rip them of the internet anyways?
@BuShiMeiGuoRen@onlyrealsaintt@7tingxxs I 2nd this.
But gotta be honest as my name is actually CJ the only reason I like Trevor more is the chaos factor that is missing in media these days.
@NoahKingJr Naah mate in happy you guys get to beta test it and review it early. It's the only way to judge if it's a buy or a pass.
Happy to wait a couple more years for the perfect version I'd it even is worthy of my coin.
@Pirat_Nation I'd love to see a direct comparison then. Because so far the cheaper alternatives have ignored the noise as a possible issue. And that is what I still like about the Gabe Cube
@Pirat_Nation From a console peasant perspective he's right. But as this is a PC we should look from a PC perspective.
Also from my perspective the Steam Machine rocks as my top focus is small form factor and Quiet, and I doubt other PCs beat them on that with the same performance.
@Mindocontrole@Deth2Tyrants Sinds everyone is forgetting it.
This PC won't be quiet under load, unlike apparently the Steam machine.
Which is the most important feature for me.
@TSmugley@werty2346@Pirat_Nation Bet that's not the only reason though, had they gone with an Nvidia GPU for their hardware then o bet they would have found a way for Nvidia to support atleast their Distro.
But why take the harder road when the easy one is right there.
@Tea_Vice@werty2346@Pirat_Nation Like other comments said not really as other distros have Nvidia support. No the real reason is Valve ignored Nvidia sinds there own hardware is nt Nvidia so adding support for it is just near the bottom of their to-do list as their hardware has priority
