What is happening at 𝗜𝗜𝗧 𝗕𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘆 is an absolute disgrace to our educational ecosystem.

A 𝗺𝗼𝗯 has taken over the streets & social media, running a vicious 𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁 against a distinguished academician.

Let us speak the unvarnished truth. 𝗗𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮 was simply doing his constitutional and professional duty by upholding academic integrity and catching exam malpractice. Since when did enforcing basic rules become a crime punishable by public lynching?

If honest professors & teachers such as IIT BOMBAY professor Dr Suryanarayana Doolla are hounded out by orchestrated 𝗺𝗼𝗯 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲 just for doing their jobs, no educator in this country will ever be safe to maintain standards again.

We cannot surrender our campuses to anarchists.

We are all duty blund to stand with 𝗗𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮. We have to stand unitedly for institutional sanity before it is too late!

In 2022, I spent 50 days in jail over a tweet under the MVA govt, with 7 FIRs against me. Ketaki Chitale faced 22 FIRs and spent 45 days in jail. Anant dada was abducted and brutally assaulted at a sitting minister's bungalow over a post. Under the MVA govt, every day felt like Aurangzeb was ruling.

All the "free speech champions" stayed silent. Selective outrage is the new norm.

At a time when Trump is scrambling to ease diesel shortages in the U.S. domestic market ahead of the approaching midterms, Marco Rubio will make a rare, direct stop early next week at India’s Jamnagar Refinery, the world’s largest refining complex by overall crude-processing capacity (around 1.24 to 1.4 million barrels per day) and a major global producer and exporter of diesel and high-speed diesel.

Because of its immense scale and conversion capability, Jamnagar makes India a leading global exporter of diesel, supplying markets across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas. With a Nelson Complexity Index of 21.1 (the highest in the world), Jamnagar produces and exports refined products at a volume that dwarfs that of individual refineries elsewhere, including in the U.S.

Owned by Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries, the complex features a dedicated export-only facility within a Special Economic Zone (SEZ), allowing it to serve as a crucial swing supplier to international markets. Rubio’s visit will follow Elon Musk’s no-holds-barred attacks on Ambani, including mockingly addressing him as “Prime Minister Ambani.” Musk has a record of launching diatribes against executives he claims are blocking his Starlink service, including the chief executives of Delta and Ryanair.

Because Jamnagar is also one of the world’s leading processors of Russian Urals oil and U.S.-controlled Venezuelan crude, the timing of Rubio’s visit is significant, particularly given the State Department’s statement that his agenda in India includes formalizing long-term energy cooperation.

Since May, India has emerged as a top global buyer of U.S.-sourced and U.S.-controlled energy.
