Complaint received against Mobilink Jazz

Dear Sir,

Mobilink Jazz has gradually increased its  basic price for post-paid customers by 70 per cent in the past ten months (from Rs. 850 to Rs. 1,450 per month).
They have done this under various prestexes like increasing line rent, data, calls, etc which are not needed by most customers. Some pre-paid category customers have told me that their charges have also increased substantially. It seems that they will go on indulging in this kind of robbery in future. Perhaps they'll stop if their customers are interviewed by the media.

C.P. 853/2025 filed in February when padel was opening in the same month.

10th March 2025 : Court order directs the mayor and DG KDA to resolve the matter within 3 months.

3rd May 2025 : Meeting or hearing opportunity with mayor KMC.
He was given a complete report on the matter and grievances of the residents/petitioners.
Mayor Karachi said he'll revert after hearing the respondents' side.
10 months gone, no relief to residents, and the court ordered to resolve the matter within 3 months. 🤡

He is the mayor, & his job is to find solutions, not make excuses.
Ironically, he invokes the views of 10–15 people in Clifton to justify inaction on the dogs issue, yet ignores residents of the same Clifton protesting commercial activities in neighborhood parks, activities not even under KMC’s jurisdiction.
This only proves he makes excuses when convenient; otherwise, he lately overstepped, ignoring Sindh High Court orders, continuing to rent out parks, and even taking the case to the Federal Court to challenge a verdict that came in favor of residents.
