DLSS 5 proves that the modern gaming industry doesn't understand gaming.
Realism doesn't make a game look good, it's about ART STYLE and ART DIRECTION.
Just because I can see the pores on the character model doesn't mean the game looks good.
This rips the soul from a game.
@notthehoneybees He’s going to be either the surprise villain or a super boss with all the information we’ve been gathering for him. I’m calling it now.
1. GTA 6's budget is $1 billion.
2. But the game will only run at 30 FPS at launch.
3. You need to pay $100 to get all content.
4. No physical game disc. Just a digital code in a box.
If you don't ask questions and just blindly praise the game, than maybe you are a sheep.
30fps is okay when rockstar does it
digital only is okay when rockstar does it
$100 games is okay when rockstar does it
paywalling a trailer is okay when rockstar does it
harvesting info from thousands of random people is okay when rockstar does it
This guy got his house blurred out on Google Maps. Apparently he can track all of our movements but he gets privacy. Time to toss heavy objects at all of these cameras until they are all destroyed.
I noticed people posting his address yet it gets taken down.
I think the CEO should just compromise on his privavcy; what makes him think his privacy is worth more than mine?
Activision paid $99.9 million for Guitar Hero's publisher in 2006, made over $2 billion off the franchise, then killed the entire genre in four years. Today that publisher's name came back from the dead to sell plastic guitars again.
RedOctane was two brothers, Kai and Charles Huang, who started out selling dance pads. They published the first Guitar Hero in 2005 and it hit $1 billion in North American sales in 26 months, faster than any franchise before it.
So Activision did what Activision does. Annualize.
In 2009 alone they shipped Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero, DJ Hero, and Guitar Hero editions for Metallica, Van Halen, and Smash Hits. Six music games in twelve months.
That playbook works for Call of Duty because a sequel only asks for $60. A Guitar Hero sequel asked you to justify the $100 plastic guitar already in your closet, and every new SKU competed with the last one on the same shelf. Genre revenue went from $1.7 billion in 2008 to about $300 million in 2010. Activision shut down RedOctane, then the whole Guitar Hero business unit.
They strip-mined ten years of demand into three.
Now the Huang brothers are back as advisors at a revived RedOctane, the studio head is a Guitar Hero veteran, and Stage Tour launches December 10 with 90 licensed songs and 180 real Gibson guitars. Fifteen years of untouched demand, and the people who invented the genre finally get a second run at it.
Rockstar just reached to me.
They didn't like what we did yesterday..
They want us to stop..
They thought I'd take their money.
Fools..
They're scared of us..
And we're not finished yet
We're only getting started..
Thanks for all the support guys
Stay tuned.. 😉
I just find it pathetic how we've had full on proof of Celebs in Hollywood who were on that island and harmed children and nothing happens.
But leaking a stupid overrated video game is more of an offense.
This is not the kind of power a gaming company should have. Since they do, I hope it is costing them millions and they never find this group/person.
Since they rather put all this effort into this rather than just taking actions to be more consumer friendly. Burn that money baby.
And he's right on every count.
Stop Killing Games has all this support and sound arguments yet all it took to stop them was some corporate heads and lobbyists having a private meeting with legislators.
I simply do not care if people wanna hurt these anti-consumer corpos' $ flow
Ya know? If Rockstar had just did what they’ve always done with the other GTA Games for GTA 6, they probably wouldn’t be facing this barrage of leaks.
But no. They just had to be greedy.
This is what they get.
Sorry not sorry
If buying isn't owning..
Then Pirating Isn't stealing..
I'd reply to the community if I were you @RockstarGames
Because trust me, this is not looking good.
And if we, the community become frustrated enough?
Those two sentences at the top? Will be your worst nightmare..😉
