@movies03@Naimaism I was actually raised in a pro-Black, pro-Liberation household, and was SHOCKED when I learned that most Black Diasporic people weren’t. It’s shaped my racial equity analysis so much, and I grew up feeling empowered by my Blackness. Every Black child should have that.

literally everyone deserves to go out for dinner, buy coffees, wear quality clothing and have fun experiences whilst also being able to afford rent, groceries, bills & have a lil left over for savings no matter what job they do. why is that so absurd to some people?
