@evilvilezombie@quietrees I’m going to be honest I’ve never read the book, I’ve just done research on it to know the lore better. I want to for sure though. It’s is highly rated, you should check it out!
@PIT0ALVAREZ@quietrees Yes, I didn’t mention Mason because a previous comment did. That was for sure sexual assault. Bryan Fuller said he didn’t actually want to depict Dolarhyde as a rapist explicitly, but some see the depiction as ambiguous. In the books Dolarhyde is for sure one.
@quietrees In the Red Dragon book, Dolarhyde was a necrophiliac. Fuller didn’t include it because he felt it was unnecessary and
wanted to make him sympathetic. Some argue that it’s implied that he raped Mrs. Marlow. If that’s true, then Hannibal encouraged Dolarhyde to rape Will’s wife…
@quietrees Hannibal would dislike rape because it lacks elegance. But he wouldn’t sympathize with the victims of it, he wouldn’t care. However, Hannibal does encourage killers that are different from him, so he might’ve encouraged a rapist to see what would happen…

My favorite Yuri is pretty niche. It’s Blue and Yellow Diamond from Steven Universe. Some people call it incest but they’re fucking rocks. Something about yearning for thousands of years, Blue being Yellow’s weakness… oml
#hannibal
I heavily fuck with obsessive creep Will Graham in season 1 AUs. Especially if he still doesn’t know what Hannibal is yet and when he finds out he’s excited. That his love is even more fucked up than he is…
This isn’t me saying that I’m not progressive btw and that I don’t see anything as problematic. But it just annoys me that people think fiction always equates reality. Like I personally wouldn’t support Hannigram if they were real people…
#Hannibal
Is anyone else a little nervous for Hannibal coming out on Netflix? I want more fans, but in this age of everything being “problematic”, I feel like there’s gonna be more people calling anyone who ships Hannigram a bad person…
#Hannibal
I know I mostly talk about Hannigram but I do truly appreciate how damn good the show is. I typically get into shows for ships. If the writing and other characters are good it’s a nice bonus. Plus it just looks so beautiful
For Hannibal: he puts Will in harms way because he thinks it will help Will long term. He finds Will’s suffering beautiful but his compassion for Will makes himself suffer. And I think that by the end of the show he no longer likes to see Will in pain (except mutual pleasure)
#hannigram
I definitely think Will enjoys seeing Hannibal in pain, but I think he really only does when Hannibal is also enjoying it. In all Will’s fantasies, Hannibal delights in Will hurting him. Like post fall when Hannibal is suffering from injuries, Will wouldn’t like it.
