@threenotes_jp I keep seeing posts like this, and I find myself wondering what the point is.
I mean, it's not like you're seriously looking for a partner through twitter, right?
Is it to advertise yourself as desirable? This isn't anger or hate, I legitimately don't understand it and want to.
@str82vide0 Hey, this is a joke right? This looks like utter slop, I can't believe it got published, much less made into mandatory reading for schools.
This is actually absurd. What year are students supposed to be reading this in?
@u1ro_ishikawa Oh! Half-races, yes, I understand.
It said 'halflings', as in 'the race of short guys', so I was confused.
Thanks for the clarification!
@tsumugi_meow The woman in question strode forwards, before casually leaping off from the stage with a stylish flip. "Stay here, Great Kahuna, I'll handle this dog. It's not nice for an animal to intrude on the matters of humans, especially where a priestess is involved, you know?"
From ch 73
@higureshuuen It would be better for him as a person, but it would be worse for his ego.
For a high end corporate man, they can handle a slight gap in their knowledge, but they absolutely cannot handle a strike against their ego!
That's almost like openly rebelling against the company, www.
@thisgandy There's no singular correct answer here, is there? It depends on the form of work the author is writing.
If they're writing an in depth philosophical work, it's natural to write at full depth and expect the reader to follow at that level.
An adventure novel is not the same.
@AndToddsaid This is ragebait, right? The dollar is doubled. It doesn't produce a 'new dollar', it doubles the existing dollar. So that dollar also has the property of doubling, because it's the same as the first.
@Ella_5b8 What the hell? The server better be giving me a full length massage too if they want a 40% tip.
Even with the idea that servers somehow can't get work literally anywhere else at all, which is laughable (I quickly found work elsewhere after a few weeks as a server) 40% is insane.
@todayyearsold I've always checked out at the front desk. Even beyond pragmatic concerns, it's just polite, isn't it? No sense creating more work for the desk workers, the same way you wouldn't want to intentionally leave the room messy.
@fujisaki_000 It depends on the person, and actually is partially dependent on race/ethnicity. Some races are more likely to have more earwax than others, so it's different depending on family, haha.
For example, us white guys usually only need to deal with earwax like once a month, if that.
@deen2657 The Souls community is known for this sort of stuff, yeah.
A lot of them think 'harder and more punishing = better' without considering anything else about it. Fun factor, options, etc go out the window.
@YZNlfuMP8Vbaaoj A lot of Chinese animation, to me, has insanely good visuals and quality, but seems to be lacking something in choreography.
I think it has to do with them often thinking 'faster = better' when it can sometimes just make the scene messier and make each move harder to appreciate.
@MAMAAAAU Or something like the 'Manton effect' from Worm, where magic can't be used inside a human body. Now you'll have to guess and aim your shot like a real sniper, making gravity magic not much more deadly than having a really strong rifle or crossbow!
@tanpukunokami The NFL guy is probably 'stronger per pound', but the Sumo guy clearly has weight advantage on him. When it comes to raw grappling and moving, that's what it all comes down to!
Cut muscle is better for running and 'athleticism', but muscle + fat is better for strength.
@wantan_tabetai Even without 'gravity', 'earth' alone can still create free standing structures, mold infrastructure, change the weight of pulley systems (by adding more to one side)...
There's a lot you can do just by summoning big rocks and shaping rocks, www
