A teammate felt guilty for praying.
A few of us were sitting in the Team Room after a hard day of training.
This guy was a stud. He came to our team from the 75th Ranger Regiment.
Multiple combat deployments. A tactical phenom.
With shame in his voice he confessed he only prayed when he was on a dangerous mission or a high-risk training event.
"I feel like I'm being fake, only praying during those times."
I told him I didn't think he was fake at all.
In moments of real danger, everything goes quiet.
Suddenly you see clearly.
The man you should be.
The things you should do.
What you should stop doing.
Risk of death has a way of burning off the noise.
The problem was never that he prayed in danger.
The work is holding onto that clarity when the danger is gone.
To carry it into the ordinary days.
That's where most men lose it.
I saw a post that asked: "How would you feel if you found out your neighbor has 40 guns and 10,000 rounds of ammunition?"
My answer: "Pretty damn good because if shit goes down I know at least one dude that has my back and has the hardware"
I hope this makes liberals cry!!
No. Zero sympathy. These are the same justices who ruled against securing our border and protecting American citizenship. They don’t get extra protections we don’t get. Not one dime more.
So they pass laws in favor of illegals that make American citizens unsafe, but want 15 million more tax payers dollars for their own private safety. Got it.
Hey, @Flock_Safety and the rest of the Surveillance State using 1984 as a DIY guide rather than the warning it is, you should probably brush up on your American History and meditate on your decisions that led you here.
Historically speaking, this is the peaceful option. Take the hint.
Unless you are announcing an end to all immigration, and the start of the largest deportation operation in history…
Americans don’t give a shit what you have to say!!!
The Battles of Lexington and Concord started because the British marched to seize colonial arms and powder stores.
The American Revolution literally began as a gun confiscation raid gone wrong. April 19, 1775. Never forget what lit the fuse.
This is a peak example of Women Writing Men. Some authors oppose violence so much they make the heroes pacifists
Harry Potter is the worst offender. Voldemort is killing people all over, but at no point do any Good Men kill any Death Eaters. It's absurd.
If a man wrote those books Voldemort's regime would have faced Aurors runing Viet Cong style Apparation ambushes 24/7. They'd be making people's pens and doorknobs into Port-Keys that dropped you into an active volcano, or a dragon's lair.
But instead the good guys just stand around being grave and sad until the final battle. It's very silly
-The Ukraine war didn't end on day one
-The 4 day war with Iran is now 6 months old.
-Gas is $5
-The country is still overrun with illegal immigrants
-Not a single arrest
Denial isn't just a river in Egypt
Trump is a traitor to his voters
Going through the Sunday PERM classifieds today, I'm honestly feeling quite sad.
Every week when we do this, we are confronted with the truth - almost all of corporate America is built on American Visa Replacement.
Each one of these (hundreds) of ads represents a wealthy owner or executive who decided it was worth eliminating the livelihood of one of his countrymen to serve his own wealth.
The Visa Replacement Industrial Complex is one of the greatest betrayals of Americans in history.
