Sikandar Butshikan summoned Brahmins of Kashmir, giving them two choices.

1)Discard Janeu

2)Dεath.

NOBODY discarded Janeu. They were all killεd. The place is known even today as "Batta Mazar" (Graveyard of Brahmins).

37 kg of Janeu was collected from their dead bodies & burnt
