@Natalin441 posta! creen que "se van a meter en problemas por quererle cobrar la luz" 🤪
OJO! El país VA a salir adelante a pesar de esta gente, eh? Lo importante es que cada vez sean menos (educación, batalla cultural, etc.).
@LogosFunction@IndianaBrunner BTW I don't recall the details, but the sinlessness of Mary is not a novel idea. It was declared dogma recently, yes, and that's tough if you don't presupose the Catholic position.
For me, is not a big deal, honestly. If God decided to redeem her that way, what is it to me?
@LogosFunction@IndianaBrunner Your struggle is real, i respect that.
The important part is: Mary was redeemed by Christ, as each and every one of us. That doesn't change. HOW she was redeemed is different (to prepare her to be the Mother of God).
She's the Ark, the definite one, of course she's special.
@CarlosMaslaton Terrorismo económico.
El riesgo país va a bajar cuando los argentinos demostremos que estos fascinerosos no tienen más lugar en la vida pública del país.
@LogosFunction@IndianaBrunner Fair enough, I get it. I've read and studied those very same subjects (and I hope we agree both are trying genuinely to follow Jesus) and arrive to complete different conclusions. And I've also found others that agreed.
That's why I don't trust individual judgment.
@LogosFunction@IndianaBrunner those are great conversations to have... with a pint (or a glass of whiskey) and I've only 140 chars here (yeah, not paying for this).
- I'm against tribalism
- also humble enough to recognize that Holy Spirit guided Bishops will do better than me and my Bible alone.
@LogosFunction@IndianaBrunner To be clear: I'm not accusing you of any of that.
The reason why I'm not a Protestant is in Thessalonians 2:15:
"Therefore, brothers, stand firm and cling to the traditions we taught you, whether by speech or by letter."
I trust the Holy Spirit more than my own judgment.
@LogosFunction@IndianaBrunner I agree, my argument is not that all disagreements are a problem.
The argument is that there are genuine good Christians in different denominations having SOME contradictory believes that ARE a problem. Believes about baptism are the clearest example I think.
@LogosFunction@IndianaBrunner I must add, not "everything" is doctrinal. There is a lot of room for disagreement, theological discussion, etc. within the Church.
The only rules are:
1. You can't contradict Scripture
2. You can't contradict pre-established doctrine
@LogosFunction@IndianaBrunner By definition, you can't be Catholic and have doctrinal differences with the Church.
For example, some people call themselves "Catholics" (eg. SSPX) but since they have gone astray they are excommunicated, they no longer belong to the Church (no matter what they SAY they are).
@carlosfame77 Flavio: flexibiliza el Mercosur.
Lula: USA pone todos los huevos en Argentina.
win-win
(Milei tiene la suerte del campeón, le salen todas).
@LogosFunction@IndianaBrunner Catholics don't debate doctrine.
"reject that dunking in the water". Other Protestants, also sincerely reading the same Bible, will tell you "definitely need that dunking for salvation".
You're not following Scripture, you're following YOUR interpretation of Scripture.
@scottsantens there is no such thing as a "free" lunch.
I don't see why taxpayers should pay for people "going deeper into what interests us".
That's called a hobby, pay for it yourself.
