Iraola in his first interview saying he's excited about senior players being at the World Cup because it means he gets a chance to work with the young players at the start of pre-season. I love him already.
Alex Scott on Iraola: “The way we press out of possession is very aggressive, similar to the early Klopp teams at Liverpool, that fierce aggressiveness and pressing with the wingers.
“Liverpool fans should definitely be so excited. It is a bigger club, but there is no reason why he can’t go in there and be a top manager and take them back to the level they were at.”
@guns29935 It’s not my money FSG can spend what they want we just have to hope he hits the ground running, people were saying the same about Ekitike last summer and then they changed their minds when he started scoring
@zerbithewizard@thatrexguy Because he wants to leave regardless of what they want and in football big clubs always win at the end of the day if we are offering them what they want they’re always going to say yes, Elliott will also be a commercial success for them bringing more outside eyes to the club
@zerbithewizard@thatrexguy Because Elliott would be playing like Wirtz in that league that’s why, yes they lose on out Diomande but gain a lot from getting a player like Elliott thrown in
