அரசியல் ரீதியாக ஏற்பட்ட அத்தனை எதிர்ப்புகளையும் -நெருக்கடிகளையும் முறியடித்து, பேரறிஞர் பெருந்தகை அண்ணா அவர்கள் தொடங்கிய நமது திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகம், உயிரோட்டமுள்ள, வலிமையான மக்கள் இயக்கமாக என்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் வகையில் வழிநடத்திய தன்னிகரற்றத் தலைவர்!

சமூக மற்றும் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சிக் குறியீடுகளில், இன்று இந்தியாவின் முன்னணி மாநிலமாக தமிழ்நாடு விளங்குவதற்கு வலுவான அடித்தளம் அமைத்திட்ட, தொலைநோக்கு பார்வை கொண்ட முதல்வர்!

இலக்கியம், நாடகம், திரைப்படம், பத்திரிகை எனப் படைப்புலகின் அனைத்துத் துறைகளிலும் தன் எழுத்துக்களால் அழியாத முத்திரை பதித்து, தலைமுறைகள் கடந்தும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் பங்களிப்புகளை வழங்கிய மாபெரும் கலைஞர்!

நீதிக்கட்சி மற்றும் சுயமரியாதை இயக்கம் வகுத்தளித்த சமூகநீதி, சமத்துவம், பகுத்தறிவு ஆகிய கொள்கைகளை இறுதிவரை உறுதியாக ஏந்தி நின்ற கொள்கை வீரர்!

தமிழினக் காவலர், முத்தமிழறிஞர் தலைவர் கலைஞர் அவர்களின் பிறந்த நாளான இன்று, அவரதம் மகத்தான பொதுவாழ்வையும், பெரும்புகழையும் போற்றுவோம்.

15 days have been almost wasted by AIS & TIS.

30-day extension was the bare minimum needed.

Almost everyone has 50-200 ITRs pending in their offices, not because people are late, but because of the reasons mentioned above.

You may call us lazy or latecomers, but we are not...!!

Hon'ble Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman Ji, @nsitharamanoffc @nsitharaman @IncomeTaxIndia @PMOIndia @FinMinIndia

I am writing on behalf of taxpayers and tax professionals to urgently request an extension of the Income Tax Return (ITR) due date from September 15, 2025, to September 30, 2025.
This appeal is based on significant challenges faced during the current filing season:
* Delayed ITR Forms: The late release of ITR utilities and audit forms in July-August 2025 has compressed the compliance window, making it nearly impossible to file accurately within the given timeframe.
* Persistent Portal Glitches: The tax portal continues to suffer from frequent downtimes, schema validation errors, and technical issues. These glitches disrupt the filing process and cause significant frustration.
* Data Mismatches: Taxpayers are struggling with persistent mismatches in the Annual Information Statement (AIS) data, particularly concerning TDS and other financial transactions. Rectifying these errors adds considerable time and effort to the filing process.
* Overlapping Deadlines: The current timeline overlaps with other critical statutory filings, creating immense pressure and a high-stress environment for both professionals and taxpayers.
An extension is not a mere convenience but a necessity to ensure that taxpayers can comply with the law accurately and without undue hardship. Granting this extension would align with the government's stated objective of promoting "Ease of Doing Business."
We kindly request your immediate intervention and look forward to a favorable decision.

👉The time limit for filing FORM GSTR-5 and FORM GSTR-6 for the tax period December, 2024 has been extended from 13.01.2025 to 15.01.2025.

👉Time limit for filing FORM GSTR-7 and FORM GSTR-8 for the tax period December 2024 has been extended from 10.01.2025 to 12.01.2025.

In order to benefit taxpayers, who could not file their returns in time due to technical glitches, the time limit for filing of FORM GSTR-1 of the tax period December 2024, has been extended till 13.01.2025. Further, the time limit for filing of FORM GSTR-1 of the tax period October 2024 to December 2024,for the taxpayers who have opted to pay tax under QRMP Scheme, has been extended till 15.01.2025.

👉Time limit for filing of FORM GSTR-3B of the tax period October 2024 to December 2024,for the taxpayers who have opted to pay tax under QRMP Scheme, has been extended till 24.01.2025/ 26.01.2025, based on the states where they are registered.
