Dear Sir,
I am exhausted in my efforts to deaf and dumb Flipkart in getting refund of my money, now finally I am compelled to bring the injustice is done by Flipkart to a senior citizen to your kind intervention and justice.
I am a 61-year-old senior citizen from Hyderabad, writing to you as a last resort for justice.

1. Issue: On 24/06/2026, I purchased a REDMI 14C 5G (Stargaze Black, 128 GB) from Flipkart for Rs.16,453. Order ID: OD437889544548445100.

2. Fraud Confirmed: On delivery, the device was found to be fake. Despite ill health and financial difficulty, I visited the brand service center A S COMMUNICATION, Tolichowki, Hyderabad twice. They refused to issue a job sheet and confirmed via email that the product is FAKE. I have attached their mail as proof.

3. No Help from Team: I sent a detailed grievance to your team on 05/07/2026. Your executive Mr. Dhananjay Mahanty replied promising an "update in 24 hours". It has been over 10 days with no response, no pickup, and no refund.

4. Impact: This is causing me severe mental distress and financial loss. As a senior citizen, I trusted Flipkart. Receiving a fake product and then being ignored is deeply upsetting.

My Request: Kindly advise Flipkart management to

1. Immediate full refund of Rs.16,453 to my original payment method
2. Pickup of the fraudulent product at Flipkart’s cost
3. Action against the seller who listed this fake product on your platform

@Rathod999999 Don't expect resolution from @flipkart , it's wastage of time. Better to try other platforms, it's no longer customer focussed. Same happened to me, waited for product return, nobody came for pickup and now product is non refundable. Poor logistics.

You are absolutely correct sir. But we can’t leave this fraud like that. We have other effective options apart from social media for justice and compensation. Since I am a senior citizen and had complied all their policies, stil I am deprived of my rights. Since it’s more than a month lapsed and as you am said I am not seeing any progress on a resolution, I am forced to file a case in the District Consumer Commission, Hyderabad and FIR with Cyber Crime Cell under Section 420 IPC for cheating.

Be careful with Flipkart online purchases. I am a senior citizen and hoping it’s a good platform for genuine business, placed order for mobile device and on receiving it was shock for me see a fake and duplicate product. When activated with SIM no network showing and IMEI also not valid in the system. Totally fraud product. When taken up with customer care service as usual they are useless people without any solution. To get work done wrote many emails to their grievances officer,escalation and also CEO, but it’s more than a month no resolution provided nor they have refunded my money. They have subjected to harassment and directed to go to brand. Managed many communication and screenshots from brands also confirming it’s a fake product and also they have clearly mentioned it’s Flipkart’s mischief.
Despite of my age, till date no solution is provided they are still not refunded my money. Worst people and even their senior management also insensitive, towards customers issues. They are losing customer trust day by day. Cases like this—where a person receives a dummy phone instead of the original product—and then gets no proper support or refund, are deeply concerning. Customers deserve accountability, transparency, and reliable service. This needs to be addressed seriously.
