It was disturbing to me as an adult and I could only imagine the trauma i’d get from actually practicing it in battle. Kids don’t need that exposure.

I defined microtonal music as using tones outside of the western standard.
That doesn’t include a western semitone like G half sharp-A half sharp.

Western tones are appealing in mainstream bc of the West’s wide hegemonic reach.
