Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Senior Advocate Rajdeep Mazumdar Ji on his appointment as the Additional Advocate General for the Government of West Bengal at the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court.

His appointment comes at an important phase following the resignation of former Advocate General Shri Kishore Dutta Ji after the Assembly election results declared on 4th May 2026, after which the earlier legal panel also stepped down, paving the way for a fresh legal team for the state.                                                                   
This important responsibility reflects his honesty, integrity, legal brilliance, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to justice and constitutional values. Over the years, he has earned immense respect across legal circles through his sharp legal acumen, balanced approach, sincerity, and dignified conduct both inside and outside the courtroom.

Shri Rajdeep Mazumdar's experience, credibility, and dedication towards the rule of law make him an excellent choice for this prestigious responsibility. We are also personally grateful for the guidance, support, and strength he has extended during challenging times, from the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court to the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Bharat.

As per the list provided by the @AITCofficial leader @ParthaAITC, the Police teams led by DC (North) Asim Khan and ACP (Bijpur) Soumyananda Sarkar of @bkpcitypolice are conducting raids at the houses of @BJP4Bengal leaders Raju Sahani, Ajit Singh and other 3 in the midnight.
The BJP activists are being harassed by the Police so that they do not attend the counting in the morning. This kind of intimidation to our party activists is unacceptable.
I request the @ECISVEEP and @CEOWestBengal to look into the atrocities being committed by the Police and stop them from doing so.
