This new Twitch anti viewbot system capping views is a big W pretty much all the expected viewbotter's are being caught, the bigger number better streamer approach needs to be changed as its just being exploited by embeds and view bots.

I looked into this a little bit at work it appears they got him with a ToS change regarding streaming that was added on May 7th, yes it's vague and was incredibly scummy and bad fate to enact it in such a way whether folks like Xeno's or not.

@Coinvo I don't think they mean literally for blind people this generally refers to being able to operate it without looking at it, like for example they wouldn't want you looking at your clutch or Gear stick while driving. wouldnt be great to be looking at a touch screen on the road.

@whooith Followers-Only chat and a registered phone number is standard for twitch otherwise you just have a bunch of bots trying to sell things in your chat especially for larger creators, this is nothing to do with Safe Spaces just standard practice on the platform.

@LunaMoonie both folks kind of have a point 100% wrong to hijack a stream to talk about this, but randomly removing folks without awareness is kind of bad as well, if someone removes me that I know I just assume we have beef and I block them from everything and never talk to them again.

@EndymionYT two main reasons, the main one is it puts you near at the top of a category so people can find your actual stream since twitch using a top winner system commonly called the kingpin I believe, the second while less so those views would still get you revenue from ads.
