@Ferrum_Patriot @giveashitnature Birders counted animals they saw and when, and posted them on note cards according to a scientific spec they were taught. They sent them in to a facility. I helped transcribe those cards into a database. The cards were from 1800’s through the present time (that was the 2000’s).

@KelleyToons @Avabelly__ It’s only for people who work really long hours and spend so much time in traffic there is nothing left of them. Or, perhaps, for invalids. While it’s a nice option, it’s costly, and people don’t always deliver exactly what you want.

@iqrafatma1278 You rinse them because it’s not like the beans were washed before packaging! They were blown by air and sifted but there could still be a small bit of stem or hull in there, plus a bad bean or two. Rinsing does remove the dirt from just the industrial process.

@GoonNRG @KhanSaba1278 So, if this person ordered two $300 plates, and just drinks, then sure, $9 would do it. But multiple plates, lots of people, lots of service, then, and A LOT of cleanup means you pay for their time and work. Don’t want to pay a tip? Don’t go to the restaurant.

@JohnFromUCLA @MrPitbull07 Don’t forget if it is dry to have a bowl with rocks in it - the bees can drink the water out of the bowl without drowning. Bees get hot and thirsty and they need water.

@JohnFromUCLA @MrPitbull07 to see that the bees struggled - my neighbors all treated their lawns and they killed native pollinators. It took me a while to encourage them to come back and they had a safe place to visit without pesticides (if I absolutely had to spray the trees I did it way after blooming).
