A woman tweeted me yesterday and thanked me for 'making her day'. For me it doesn't get better than this. She was really down and she read my tweet about neglecting
older people.
She said it brought her out of her sadness.
If I can do that, once a day, my life is Good! Love it
@JenC222 As a man, I'm sorry. A lot of us just can't seem to get with the times. I have friends who would still be happier with Stepford wives. I knew how to treat a woman early on. It was definitely my Mom. Hard to listen, time and time again.
@LivingInThePas5 I do but my kids take no notice. My Grandfather was 18 in 1914 an fought for four years. His older brother was killed. There were Horrible conditions in the trenches. I can't even imagine having (wanting) to go and fight. I don't think my kids ever think about it. Too bad
