April 1, 2019 – @RavenMBB coach Ryan Moody is named NAIA Coach of the Year by the NABC. Moody coached BC to a 31-4 record and the Sweet 16 of the NAIA Tournament. BC won the Heart of America Conference with a 24-0 record, part of a school-record 29-game win streak.
Feb. 6, 1993 – @RavenMBB cruises past Culver-Stockton 92-76 after leading 58-25 at halftime. Matt Westerhaus leads the Ravens with 25 points, making six three-pointers, and Albert Karner adds 21.

Beals Becker and Bob Veale will be posthumously inducted on January 31.
Becker was born in El Dorado and played eight MLB seasons in the early 1900s.
Veale pitched at St. Benedict’s College (now Benedictine) in Atchison. He led the NL in strikeouts in 1964.

Jan. 13, 1953 – @RavenMBB wins its 14th straight home game and “uncover a new star” in a 62-52 win over defending CIC champion Washburn. Sophomore Benny Peters leads St. Benedict’s with 18 points and “his accurate passing and steady hustling contributed to the victory.”
Jan. 8, 1980 – Art Tolbert’s two free throws with no time on the clock give the Ravens a 77-75 win over Emporia State in Atchison. Kirby Foray leads @RavenMBB with 27 points and Jim Schuster adds 16.
