Bolivia's union confederation has forced the government to withdraw all privatization and anti-land reform laws, in exchange for ending the general strike. Agreement signed.
However (big however), most affiliated unions state that they want to maintain strike until govt resigns.
Very sad to learn that Mona Khalil died after weeks in the ICU following an Israeli strike that levelled her home in Mansouri. She was a very well-known environmental activist and dedicated her life to saving endangered turtles. She stayed in the south despite Israeli strikes because of her love for the land.
She was a civilian, a renowned figure but Israel targeted her house.
CNN profiled her in 2017 here: https://t.co/ZaMRnuS4zf
“I live every day to the fullest and don’t worry about tomorrow,” she told the newspaper.

Minnesota trade unionists are among the 15 people indicted by the federal government today, as part of a crackdown on organizing in opposition to ICE. The indictment cited participation in worker assemblies as evidence of conspiracy. By me and @radicalamy https://t.co/uZNYq1olB6
@lalukeasigue I apologize if this question is bad, but I'm not sure if I understand this message. Are you saying it's bad for people to ignore PSL's toxic organizing culture and anti-democratic structures to instead focus on PSL having bad theory?
Bea Lumpkin was a giant of our labor movement. She stood with working people everywhere in the fight for workers’ rights, civil rights and education rights.
She embodied solidarity—and we’ll use her inspiration to keep fighting for a more just world for all. Rest in power ✊
Today I join those in @Chicago and across the world in mourning Bea Lumpkin—a towering figure in the labor movement, an unwavering advocate for fully-funded education, and a continued source of inspiration for us all.
Spanning almost an entire century of public engagement, Lumpkin was deeply involved in movements for workers' rights, civil rights, and educational justice. She advocated for the right of workers to organize and bargain collectively, supported efforts to advance racial justice, and fought for policies that protected vulnerable communities.
As a teacher and organizer, Bea brought the lessons of solidarity into the classroom. As a math teacher in Chicago Public Schools and at Malcolm X College, she inspired generations of students while remaining deeply engaged building worker power. Through her leadership in the Chicago Teachers Union Retiree Committee and Climate Justice Committee, she built bridges between generations, reminding us that strong schools and strong communities are built through collective action and a steadfast commitment to justice.
Bea Lumpkin's life was a testament to the power of principled activism and the enduring belief that ordinary people, working together, can change the world. May her memory continue to guide and inspire us and we honor her legacy and carry on her pursuit for justice.

Solidarity with the Bolivian people in their struggle. The real makers of history are not presidents, generals, or billionaires, but the organized masses. When the people rise, even the strongest barricades cannot stand against their collective strength.
A photographer recently captured a heartwarming moment in the Jiayier Mountains of Tuoli county, #Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region — a steppe #polecat family out for a stroll, with playful babies frolicking and darting about under their mother's watchful eye. #ChinaBound #FunChina #NatureLovers

Currently the Taiwanese ambassador is influencing domestic affairs in Swaziland and trying to oust the current prime minister because he said that relations with China
